Engineering Powerhouse

1. Engineering Powerhouse



  • Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation– Hands-on from year one in the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing.

  • Electrical Engineering and Automation: Smart grid simulation labs partnered with State Grid Corporation.

  • Computer Science and Technology: AI Direction Curriculum includes deep learning, robotics, and a mandatory internship at Huawei’s Wuhan Research Center.

How Much Does It Cost to Study at Huazhong University of Science and Technology?

There are three tuition fees for studying at Huazhong University of science and technology, payable at the beginning of class in September. No installment can be made, but 70–100% scholarships in China are awarded to students on merit.

Other charges besides tuition:

  • Application fee: 600 RMB (non-refundable).

    • Insurance expenses: 800 RMB/year (hospitalization coverage of up to 400,000 RMB).
